1904 (Thursday) – Jennie Teasdale and Helen Grace called about noon, Jennie took Lillian (Lillian Lunt) home with her to spend the afternoon. Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) took Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt) over to Mothers (Caroline Webb) and Lillian (Lillian May Sperry) came here and stayed with Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) while I went to Relief Meeting. I had to give the third lesson on The Book of Mormon. I was frightened, but I knew the spirit of the Lord was with me or I could not have done as well as I did. Sister Cazier (Mary Ann Parkes) seemed very pleased with the lesson. After meeting, Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) went downtown with me to assist me in buying me a dress. In the evening, I went down to Grandpa Sperry’s (Charles Sperry) to be a scribe while he gave some Patriarchal Blessings.
