1906 (Thursday) – In the afternoon I went to Relief Meeting. We had a lovely meeting. Sister Chapple gave the lesson. Afterwards several bore their testimony, The main topic of discussion seemed to be on charity. They said no matter how good we are, or how much we do if we have not charity, the rest availeth us nothing. One thing that was read in the minutes was that Sister Cazier (Mary Ann Parkes) said in the last meeting was that we are now living in the days of mercy, afterwards will come justice. Clara (Clara Golden) went out home to spend the evening. My sister LIllian (Lillian May Sperry) was here for supper. The wind is blowing very hard tonight, it makes the windows and doors rattle.
