1906 (Tuesday) – I took Baby (Eva Ruth Lunt) down to Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt), she has some of the aged sisters down to spend the afternoon and I went down to play for them to sing. Most of them bore their testimony telling how happy they were to be together and how grateful to Sister Lunt for inviting them down.
Sister Matheny Vickers was so happy she spoke in tongues, which were interpreted by Sister Jarrett. We had a fine supper, then returned to our homes.
I took Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) and Lillian (Lillian Lunt) down town and bought each of them a hat. In the evening, Blanch Jenkins and Sister Ruth (Ruth Sperry) slept here and I went to a dance for a while in the Armory.
