1946 (Thursday) – Feel a little tired now that it is all over, there is always a satisfied feeling when everything goes off smoothly. Washed and loafed around all day. We are having some lovely weather, quite hot for a day or two, but is a little cooler today. Carl (Carl Hatch Hunter) and Dorothy (Dorothy Snader) spent the night at his brother’s (Arvel Hatch Hunter) up Cottonwood Canyon.
Towards evening they came to town and something went wrong with their car, so they had to leave it with a garage all night. They slept here.
