1947 (Saturday) – I bottled nine quarts of pears. I was very tired when I got through. Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) came home in time to help with dinner. Evening – Edna (Edna Viola Nelson), Grace (Grace Viola Harper) and Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) came in for an hour or two. We just visited and before they left, we took care of the drawing of names for the different members of the families for Christmas.
