1947 (Tuesday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I went up to vote. He came home and I went to the market. At one o’clock, went to Teacher’s Report Meeting, which was followed by Relief Meeting. Bishop Hinckley’s wife gave the lesson, theology. We are studying the life of the Saviour with Brother Talmadge’s book as reference. The lesson was on our prenatal birth and childhood and on the beginning of Christ’s ministry on earth. This was followed by testimony bearing. I was among those who bore their testimony. I felt the spirit of the Lord was present in great abundance and it was truly a time of rejoicing.
