1947 (Saturday) – Neither Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) or myself feel too good today. He must have been thrown against the steering wheel as he has been in quite a bit of pain in his ribs. We put a hot pad on him and it helped Father feel a little better today. He phoned Mr. Fogle about leaving his cap here. He didn’t know where he had left it so he came down this morning to get it.

I went to town, took my dimes, to the bank and did several errands. It was pleasant this morning, but it is raining now.
