1947 (Monday) – Lillian (Lillian Lunt) went out to Della’s (Della Lunt) to help her bottle some corn. Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) brought her home when he went to work. They bottled 48 pints, she is going to give some of it to me.
I bottled about a quart of apple jelly, from a bottle of Hawaiian Punch, which had been emptied, but not rinsed out. I obtained a little coloring for my jelly.
