1947 (Tuesday) – This morning Doctor Taylor came in to check on Oscar (Alfred Oscar Lunt). Said he was much improved, that his heart was normal and that he could begin walking some more. He wants him to go on a rice and fruit diet; rice three times a day. Here’s hoping it will work. He sat and chatted with us for a few minutes. I am to report to him in a few days.
Afternoon – Shed (Shadrach James Lunt) came to see us, he had his little grandson with him.
